PARTNERS - LMSA | Latino Medical Student Association

Founded in 1987, the Latino Medical Student Association is a non-profit organization with a mission to unite and empower current and future physicians through service, mentorship, and education to improve the health of Hispanic, Latino, and other historically marginalized communities in the United States. LMSA envisions a healthcare system where all patients benefit from diverse, well-supported providers; where disparities are addressed through advocacy, education, and awareness; and where underrepresented communities receive the care they deserve. Throughout the years, LMSA has successfully provided leadership opportunities for Latino, underrepresented, and allied students and promoted volunteerism in the community. LMSA is composed of over 2,000 members across five regions: Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, Midwest, and West. LMSA national executive board officers are elected each year and oversee the autonomous regional executive boards composed of 10 directors.
We are proud to support LMSA, and to feature this 501(c)(3) organization as one of our featured philanthropic partners. To learn more about LMSA and its significant impact on the Hispanic and Latino community, please visit their website at: https://national.lmsa.net/.
